The Friends of the Australian National Botanic Gardens present A Butterfly Walk with local expert Suzi Bond.
This is wonderful opportunity to observe those elusive creatures, the butterflies, that inhabit the Botanic Gardens. Discover how to identify common butterfly species, what they eat, why they are in the Gardens and more interesting facts in the company of an expert.
Copies of the Field Guide to the Butterflies of the Australian Capital Territory by Suzi Bond with Steve Holliday and John Stein are available at the Botanic Gardens bookshop.
Meet: Visitor Centre
Bring: Water. Snacks and your binoculars. There is a limited number of binoculars available to borrow.
Wear: Walking gear including hat and sturdy shoes.
